JCB has added the high-capacity 550-80 Agri Plus Loadall to its agricultural telescopic handler line.

The 550-80 features:

• A massive 11,000 lb. (4,989 kg) lift capacity with a lift height with of 26 ft. 7 in. (8.1 m)

• A 130 hp (97 kW) JCB Dieselmax engine

• 37 gpm (140 Lpm) variable flow hydraulics and Hi-flow pipework for faster loader cycle times and auxiliary service performance

• Heavy-duty boom design to provide a massive 14,600 lb. of breakout force

High Capacity to Meet Customer Demand

The 550-80 is JCB’s highest capacity Loadall, and it has been designed for the heaviest duty farm applications. These applications include digging manure or silage and loading the manure spreader or feed wagon. The 550-80 Agri Plus is powered by a 130 hp JCB Dieselmax engine. The machine boasts a powershift transmission, 37 gpm variable flow hydraulics and high flow pipework for rapid cycle times and auxiliary service flow.

The 26 ft. 7 in. lift height, 11,000 lb. maximum lift capacity machine has been developed in direct response to customer demand for a machine with greater loader performance. With servo controls as standard, operators benefit from low joystick lever efforts and excellent ergonomics. In addition, JCB’s smooth ride system (boom suspension) offers improved load retention and increased operator comfort.

The inner boom of the 550-80 has been specially designed and engineered for strength and reliability, in heavy duty digging applications, it incorporates a Z-bar bucket linkage. This system provides 14,600 lbs. of break out force — an increase of more than 50 percent on the current 541 Agri Plus. The low boom line also contributes to enhanced all-round visibility.
