Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc held its largest public auction to date on Feb. 24 and 25. The two-day early spring public auction was held in Brooklyn, Miss. The next two-day public auction in Brooklyn, Miss., will be May 5 and 6.

This public auction was held for multiple local counties and contractors who recently decided to liquidate excess equipment inventory due to job completion. There were a total of 2,000-plus items in all four rings. A total of 1,350 participated in live and online bidding — some from as far as Maine, Arizona, Nebraska and Washington. Bidders also participated from the following countries: Chile, Peru, Mexico and Canada.

Highlights from the auction include three 2016 Mack GU713 TRI/A dump trucks, a 2011 Caterpillar D6TXW crawler tractor, a 2012 Hyundai HL770-9A wheel loader, 2012 Hyundai Robex 320LC-9 hydraulic excavator and a 2013 Western Star 4900SF Tri/A road tractor.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers' next offsite auction will be the Absolute Mid-West Farm & Construction Equipment Public Auction held in Ottumwa, Iowa, April 13. This auction will feature farm equipment and implements, construction equipment and attachments.
