Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc held a successful absolute truck and equipment public auction in Florala, Ala., on March 23. The next two-day public auction in Brooklyn, Miss., will be May 13 to 14.

This public auction was held for a local contractor liquidating equipment and trucks surplus to their ongoing needs. A total of 101-plus buyers participated in live and online bidding, some from as far as New York, Nebraska, California and Florida.

Highlights from the auction included two Caterpillar D6R crawler tractors, three Daewoo 300LC-V solar hydraulic excavators and a 2005 Gomaco GT3600 curb machine that was awarded to a bidder who flew in from Nebraska. An assortment of tri-axle dump trucks and backhoes also were featured in the auction.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers' next online auction will be the south Florida public online auction held through www.jeffmartinauctioneers.com. The auction will be held April 13 to 20. This auction will feature cranes, construction equipment, trailers, trucks and support equipment.
