Jeff Martin Auctioneers held its late fall two-day construction and transportation public auction event at its Brooklyn, Miss., facility from Nov. 8-9. A couple days of cool temps at the sale site made for some pleasant auctioning in southern Mississippi.

Another great crowd of on-site registered bidders and heavy bidding on the internet for both days completed another successful Brooklyn sale. A great lineup of yellow iron, aerials, mini/compact machines, backhoe-loaders, road building machines, heavy duty trucks and trailers and much-much more. Equipment from municipalities and a host of other consignors were featured in this sale. CEG

Jotting a few notes on some Bobcat compact track loaders of interest is James Sullivan of Sullivan Construction Services, Pearl, Miss.

Interested in the four Komatsu PC 360LC excavators in the sale lineup (L-R) are Chris Knight, Calvin Rockwell and Horace Knight of K & K Services, Tibbie, Ala.

Putting a little air under the tracks while test-operating a Cat 320DL excavator is Jamie Drennen of Breakwater Marine, Biloxi, Miss.

Checking out a low-hour Kubota SSV-65 skid steer loader are Skully McLeod (in cab) and Dustin Helton of McLeod & Son Construction, Lucedale, Miss.

As the Cat telehandlers are lined up and about to go across the ramp to be auctioned, Sean Sumrall of Larry Sumrall Contractors, Laurel, Miss., takes one last look at the ones he’s interested in.

The yellow iron that rolled across the ramp included a nice collection of Caterpillar and Komatsu dozers.
