Steve Leckrone (L), chief operator and head foreman, and Michael Tillman, vice president, both of Tillman Paving, White Hall Md., reported that business was picking up for their company. Dante Broadwater, nephew of Robert Broadwater, an independent contractor from Deep Creek County, Md., imagines what it will be like when he’s old enough to operate equipment. Bidders surround the Cochran “Auction Mobile” to vie for some of the smaller items at the sale.

J.G. Cochran Auctioneers & Associates held a sale April 8, 9 and 10 in Hagerstown, Md.

The three-day auction featured a wide array of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers and brought in bidders from all over the Northeast and Midwest.
