The JLG Model 2630ES is a 30-in. (76 cm) wide scissor lift with a platform height of 25 ft. 6 in. (7.8 m). Part of the five-model ES Series, the 2630ES has front wheel drive and steering for a zero degree inside turning radius and features 3.5-in. (8.9 cm) ground clearance with 25 percent gradeability, so it clears doorway thresholds and can be driven onto trailers and rollback trucks. It is equipped with non-marking tires and can be operated inside or outside.

The ES Series scissor lifts feature an electric drive system that uses two independent electric motors for the drive wheels. The drive system provides up to two times the duty cycles that other models provide and it lowers noise levels by eliminating the power loss associated with pumps, hoses and hydraulic motors. Four 6V amp-hour batteries provide power and an on-board battery charger is standard.

The scissor lifts also incorporate a hydraulic system that combines the hydraulic lift pump, reservoir and motor with the lift cylinder into a single assembly. The design reduces the complexity of the hydraulic system and provides greater reliability by reducing potential leak points and reduced maintenance, according to the manufacturer.

The system is comprised of a total of two hoses and four fittings.

For ease of operation, an improved control station permits one-handed control of both the proportional drive and lift functions. The platform deck is manufactured from non-corrosive aluminum with non-skid strips.
