Kage Innovation has expanded its SnowDozer Wing Plow lineup with the introduction of the new 8.5-ft. Tukr Wing, a tapered wing option designed to extend snow-clearing capabilities beneath step-deck trailers and other low-clearance obstacles.
The Tukr Wing, which debuted in late 2025, becomes the third wing size available for Kage's 48-in.-tall SnowDozer Wing Plows, joining the existing 4-ft. and 5-ft. wing options. Designed for use on large wheel loaders in the 30,000- to 50,000-lb. class, the Tukr Wing combines an extended reach with a low-profile toe designed specifically for demanding commercial and industrial snow removal applications.
The name "Tukr Wing" comes from one of its primary advantages: its ability to "tuck under" the king pin of step-deck trailers. While the SnowDozer's center moldboard stands 48 in. tall, the Tukr Wing uses a tapered profile that drops to just 27 in. tall at the toe. This allows operators to extend the plow farther beneath trailers and other obstacles where a traditional full-height wing may have limited clearance.
For contractors maintaining distribution centers, trucking facilities, loading areas and other properties with large numbers of parked trailers, the added reach can help reduce the amount of snow left behind in areas that are traditionally difficult to access with large wheel loaders.
Industry-Leading Heel, Toe Float
The Tukr Wing incorporates the same heel-and-toe float technology found throughout Kage's SnowDozer Wing design. Rather than forcing the wing skid to remain at a fixed angle relative to the moldboard, the floating design allows both the heel and toe of the wing skid to adjust to the plowing surface.
This helps maintain more consistent pressure both the wing and on the cutting edge while promoting even wear. It also reduces the need for the operator to maintain a precise plow pitch simply to keep the wing cutting edges properly engaged with the pavement for scraping and containment.
The result is a wing designed not only to extend the plow's reach, but also to maintain consistent scraping performance across its full 8.5-ft. length.
AdvantEDGE Contouring Technology
Kage has also integrated its AdvantEDGE contouring cutting edge technology directly into the Tukr Wings.
Instead of treating the extended wings simply as snow-containment surfaces, the Tukr Wing's cutting-edge design allows the wings themselves to contour to the plowing surface. This helps the extended cutting edges maintain contact with uneven pavement and scrape more effectively, complementing the contouring performance of the SnowDozer's center moldboard.
Combining AdvantEDGE technology with heel-and-toe wing float is designed to provide consistent scraping performance across the entire plow — from the center moldboard all the way to the toe of each 8.5-foot wing.
The Tukr Wing can be paired with SnowDozer Wing Plow center moldboards ranging from 10 ft. to 18 ft. wide.
When two 8.5-ft. Tukr Wings are paired with an 18-ft. center moldboard and positioned for maximum width, the SnowDozer Wing can clear a swath of snow measuring up to 35 ft. wide.
That expanded clearing width gives operators of 30,000- to 50,000-lb. wheel loaders the ability to take advantage of their machines' size and power on large commercial and industrial properties. The wings can then be repositioned as conditions demand, giving operators the versatility of a hydraulic wing plow rather than limiting the machine to a single fixed clearing width.
The combination is particularly well suited for large parking lots, distribution centers, trucking terminals, industrial facilities, airports and other properties where operators need both high-capacity snow moving and the ability to maneuver around obstacles.
More Options
Customers can now configure the 48-inch SnowDozer Wing Plow with 4-ft., 5-ft. or 8.5-ft. wings, allowing the plow to be better matched to the machine and snow-removal application.
The new 8.5-ft. option is designed for operators who want to maximize productivity on large properties while gaining additional reach into areas that can be difficult to clear with conventional large-equipment snow plows.
By combining a 27-in. tapered toe, 8.5-ft. reach, curb-clearing heel-and-toe skid float and AdvantEDGE contouring cutting edges, the Tukr Wing expands the capabilities of the SnowDozer Wing while maintaining the ground-following and scraping characteristics expected from Kage's large-equipment snow removal systems.
