JM Wood Auction Company Inc. held a successful three-day construction equipment, truck and agricultural and forestry machine auction, at its headquarters facility in Montgomery, Ala., on Sept. 20 to 22. A total of 2,838 total lots were sold from more than 500 consignors, including Alabama Power Company, Barrett Logging, Flint Equipment and numerous government agencies from across the Southeast.

"This was the largest September Auction in our companies 43 years," said Bryant Wood, company president. "We had a lot of sellers in this auction that were updating their fleets before the end of the year. These guys seem to have a lot of work and were spending money. It was encouraging to see the great turnout we had all three days."

The next Montgomery auction will be held Dec. 1 to 2, followed by the 44th Annual Spring Auction in Montgomery on March 14 to 18.
