J.T. Russell & Sons Inc. hosted an Equipment ROADeo on Oct. 19, where contestants had the chance to operate various machines during skill competitions. The courses were tough and challenging, and all for a good cause.

It is J.T. Russell & Sons Inc.'s desire to partner with organizations who have values that mirror their own to ignite hope, faith and love to those in need. By getting in the huddle with Dream On 3, J.T. Russell & Sons Inc. is making dreams come true and making an investment in the lives of these kids and this community. In 2019-2020, J.T. Russell & Sons Inc. increased their involvement with Dream On 3 when they accepted a nomination to compete in the Queen City Business of the Year Competition, a fundraising competition working in coordination with the annual Dream On 3 Dream Gala.

J.T. Russell & Sons Inc. also believes in their duty to strengthen our communities, and a commitment to doing what is right. The company says their values align with Dream On 3's vision to unite communities in promoting the dreams of our children.

Their goal in participating in this year's Queen City Business of the Year is to unite those that build every day and make dreams come true for children with chronic illnesses, intellectual and developmental disabilities or life-altering conditions.

Dream On 3 brings dreams to life by creating customized personal experiences with a favorite athlete, sporting event or sports team. Perhaps for just a day, an afternoon or weekend, recipients get to escape their reality, get in the game and realize that through teamwork anything is possible!

Placing beach balls in a small circle became much easier when using a Terramac RT9 truck  

With the help of Cat 140 motorgrader, contestants had to knock 12 tennis balls off the cones  

Using a John Deere 50G mini-excavator, contestants competed in the ball drop.  

The obstacle course included carrying a beach ball on the deck using a Cat 259D3 compact track loader.
