On Nov. 1, 2008, King of Prussia Equipment Corp. in King of Prussia, Pa., held a one-day service school for pump operators of Schwing America concrete boom pumps.
Jeff Popa, technical service manager of Schwing America Inc., conducted the complimentary service school at King of Prussia Equipment’s facility. The service school had 21 participants from nine companies based in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Students were instructed via a slide show thru individual manuals in a classroom setting. Major topics covered were basic hydraulics, basic electrical, common parts and how they function, safety and safe operating procedures and hands-on troubleshooting.
Coffee and donuts as well as lunch were provided by King of Prussia Equipment. Schwing America provided service manuals, hats and door prizes. Construction Forms Inc. (Conforms) also provided door prizes.
