Kleis Equipment, an authorized dealer of DEVELON construction equipment, is expanding its regional presence with two new locations: one in Avon, N.Y., and another in Belington, W.Va.

The Kleis Equipment dealership in Avon is a new 16,000-sq.ft. facility. This location expands the company's presence in western New York. to serve the Rochester market and the Interstate 390 area, offering contractors, landscapers, municipalities, loggers and agriculture producers more direct access to DEVELON compact and heavy equipment, rentals, parts and service, according to DEVELON.

Branch Manager Marshal Oberer said, "the decision to open a new location in Avon came down to market coverage, customer access to DEVELON machines and growth opportunity for Kleis Equipment. Western New York has a large base of contractors who need better access to construction equipment. We saw the void and wanted to fill it with DEVELON equipment."

The Belington location will bring the full line of DEVELON compact and heavy equipment to local contractors, backed by Kleis Equipment's sales, parts and service support.

"Adding DEVELON construction equipment to our existing dealership in Belington will help Kleis Equipment boost growth by providing quality, durable products to current clients and new customers across several industries," said Rusty Harsh, general manager of Kleis Equipment.

For nearly 20 years, owner John Kleis and his employees have been serving customers with a large selection of outdoor power and earthmoving equipment.

"What sets Kleis Equipment apart is that we are a family-owned and operated business," said Oberer. "Our decision-makers are accessible, and when a customer needs something, we can respond quickly and make things happen."

"Our company's desire to give customers what they want, when they want it and at a fair price will prove extremely beneficial to the success of our business," said Harsh.
