KOBELCO Construction Machinery USA, a leading crawler excavator manufacturer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jesus Santos as a Field Service Representative for the Latin American Region. The expansion of KOBELCO’s field service team continues to amplify the company’s commitment to the delivery of industry leading customer service. Santos brings with him to KOBELCO more than 25 years of heavy equipment technical support experience.
In his new role, Santos will be responsible for assisting KOBELCO dealers with the company’s full line of excavators including service training and assisting dealer mechanics in his area of responsibility. “I’m ecstatic to be joining this outstanding company and as with most of the KOBELCO team, this industry is my passion,” states Santos. “I am very much looking forward to the challenges and successes of this new position.”
As KOBELCO continues to regain market share in North America, well-qualified field-service personnel such as Santos are essential to the company’s long-term success. “Jesus has a lengthy resume of diverse experience in the construction equipment industry from both the dealer and manufacturer sides,” states Stephen Causby, KOBELCO’s National Service Manager for North & South America. “His insight from both viewpoints, along with his extensive skills will be extremely valuable to our team.
