Kobelco Expands Parts Team With Addition of Barton

Barton brings with him to Kobelco more than 20 years of experience in parts sales and product support management.

Kobelco Construction Machinery USA has added Billy Barton to the company’s growing parts team. Barton will be responsible for parts technical. The expansion of Kobelco’s parts and service department amplifies the company’s mission to deliver industry leading sales support to Kobelco dealers and customers. Barton brings with him to Kobelco more than 20 years of experience in parts sales and product support management.

Although new to this position, Barton is well versed when it comes to the Kobelco brand. He served in a similar role with the company as a national account parts sales representative from 2000-2002, during which time he was responsible for the sale of parts to more than 900 national account locations throughout North America.

"It is a great privilege to once again be part of the Kobelco parts and service team," said Barton. "Kobelco’s unyielding commitment to providing not only a great product, but also superior after-the-sale support to its customers is refreshing."

In his new role, Barton will be responsible for locating parts and fulfilling parts orders as well as providing customers and dealers with pricing, availability and lead times. He also will assist with inventory control and the overall day-to-day operation of Kobelco’s part distribution facility in Houston, Texas.

Highly qualified personnel such as Barton are critical to Kobelco achieving its aggressive, long-term market share goals.
