A product invented and manufactured in Morris is among 64 products competing to be named the Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota.

The first round of public voting is open and runs until Monday, Sept. 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM (CDT) at mnchamber.com/coolest-thing-made-minnesota.

Superior Industries' TeleStacker Conveyor has been selected by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce for its annual bracket-style competition celebrating products manufactured across the state. Public voting determines which products advance through each round.

Made in Morris, Minnesota in 1997, the TeleStacker Conveyor was developed to change how quarries, mines and other bulk material operations handle large amounts of heavy material. The automated conveyor moves from side to side, raises and lowers and extends in and out to place material where it is needed. Nearly 30 years after the first unit was sold to a Minneapolis-area aggregate producer, the machine can now be found operating around the world, including that very first model.

"What makes this product so special isn't just the machine, but the welders, painters, assemblers, engineers, machinists and countless others who have had a hand in its success," said Jason Adams, president of Superior. "We hope our families, communities, customers, dealers, suppliers and other industry partners of Superior will get behind the TeleStacker Conveyor and help us shine a spotlight on the people behind it."

The Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota competition begins with 64 products from manufacturers across the state. Winners advance through successive rounds of public voting until one product is crowned the 'Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota.'

Voting is open now at mnchamber.com/coolest-thing-made-minnesota.
