B.R. Lee Industries Inc. (LeeBoy) recently announced that it had acquired Rosco Manufacturing Company, headquartered in Madison, SD.

LeeBoy, a manufacturer of asphalt pavers, has designed and manufactured asphalt paving and grading products at its Denver, NC, facility since 1964.

Rosco Manufacturing, founded in 1928, manufactures bituminous distributors, chip spreaders, pothole patchers and self-propelled brooms. It relocated from Minnesota to Madison in 1983 and employs 140 people.

"Rosco represents a superb fit with the LeeBoy paving and grading equipment lines," said Patrick A. Labriola, president and chief executive officer of LeeBoy. "The acquisition is consistent with our overall growth strategy to expand our road paving, grading and maintenance equipment company."

"We are very pleased to be partnered with LeeBoy," said Jon Knuths, president and chief operating officer of Rosco. "The combination of these two fine organizations signifies a step ahead for our employees and customers as we continue our efforts to improve efficiencies and expand markets."
