LiftOne, a Cat lift trucks dealer in Charlotte, NC, received the Platinum Dealer of Excellence award at an awards ceremony in Greece.

The awards recognize the efforts of dealers in the United States and Canada.

The Quest for Excellence program focuses on two primary areas, revenue growth and financial viability, in five important elements including: customer satisfaction, equipment growth, product support growth, asset usage and profitability.

Based on points awarded in each category, Cat lift trucks dealers are awarded the title of Dealer of Excellence in one of four categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Bill Ryan, LiftOne’s vice president and general manager, said this is the first time his company earned the honor, but he is pushing the company’s 226 employees to work for a repeat.

This year, LiftOne scored a 96 out of 100. Ryan hopes to score a 98 in 2006.

He credits the employees for LiftOne’s success, which became a division of Carolina Tractor in 1984. It serves the central and western regions of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

In addition to bringing home a second Platinum award in a row, Ryan said it is another of his goals to grow the business by 10 percent, focusing on northern Virginia.

“As a company committed to quality and excellence, we believe these core elements are vital to the success of our dealer relationships,” said Don Green, dealer support manager for Cat Lift Trucks. “We are proud to recognize LiftOne with this great honor.”
