LiuGong North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of LiuGong Machinery based in Liuzhou, China, and a global leader in the manufacturing of heavy construction equipment announced the appointment of J.R. Gilliam as sales manager of its North Central territory. Effective July 2018, Gilliam's new responsibilities focus on dealer development of LiuGong and Dressta sales functions, assisting dealers throughout the territory from his home base in Kentucky.
The North Central territory of LiuGong North America includes the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, South Dakota, North Dakota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska and Kansas.
Prior to his employment with LiuGong, Gilliam had for more than 20 years managed John Deere dealerships in Kentucky, Texas and Montana for Holt Equipment Co. and RDO Equipment Co.
