More than 2,200 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’s multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on May 28.

Bidders came from 45 countries, including 48 U.S. states. Approximately 65 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Egypt, India, Guatemala, Poland and Singapore. Online bidders purchased approximately 56 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 1,800 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including 60 plus compactors, 45 plus skid steers, 30 wheel loaders, 25 plus excavators, 25 plus loader backhoes, 65 plus boom lifts, 30 plus scissor lifts, 25 plus flatbed trucks, 20 plus dump trucks, 30 truck tractors, 100 plus trailers, 70 plus pickup trucks and more.
