More Than 2,350 Bidders Attend Ritchie Bros. Chicago, Ill., Auction

Well over two thousand bidders from 47 countries participated in the auction.

More than 2,350 bidders registered to participate online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, on Oct. 3.

Bidders came from 47 countries, including 47 U.S. states. Close to 73 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Ghana, Egypt, Peru, Honduras and Zimbabwe. Online bidders purchased more than 51 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, close to 2,500 equipment lots were sold in the auction, including crawler tractors, excavators, wheel loaders, truck tractors and more.
