Murphy Adds New Sales Representatives, Manager

Murphy Tractor and Equipment Co., John Deere’s construction equipment dealer located in Wichita, Kan., has hired Randy Case as territory sales representative, Ron Efferding as branch manager of the Omaha, Neb., facility and Ron McFarlane as territory sales representative.

Case has been with Murphy Tractor almost 10 years and previously worked as the sales representative in Ulysses, Kan. He also worked in the construction equipment business for more than 18 years prior to joining Murphy Tractor. He will now be responsible for sales and customer service in Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Marion, McPherson, Reno, and parts of Sedgwick and Sumner counties.

“Randy Case has over 28 years of experience in construction equipment and the construction industry. His broad knowledge and his amiable demeanor will greatly benefit customers,” said Bill Barnard, branch manager in Wichita.

Efferding has been with Murphy Tractor for 12 years and has worked in both Omaha and Wichita, Kan., as a territory sales representative. He started work in the construction equipment business more than 23 years ago as a service technician. Efferding, an Omaha native, is very familiar with the construction industry in the area.

His technical and sales background in the construction industry affords him thorough knowledge in all aspects of the customers’ needs. McFarlane has been with Murphy Tractor more than 18 years and has worked as the product support manager in Ulysses for the last 10 years. He is a Wichita, Kan., native and currently lives in Hugoton with his family. McFarlane is responsible for sales and customer service for a 16 county region of southwest Kansas.

“Ron McFarlane has a broad knowledge of construction equipment and the construction industry. His thirty years of experience will greatly benefit customers,” said Terry Stefan, branch manager, Murphy Tractor in western Kansas.

Murphy Tractor has 16 locations throughout the mid-western states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. September 2007, will mark Murphy Tractor’s 25th anniversary.
