Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. Inc., has launched EquipGard — a complete maintenance solution utilizing the latest in John Deere’s Worksight Technology. The new program allows customers to maximize machine uptime and minimize maintenance cost, according to the company.
Three tiers are available for customers to select including: essential, enhanced and elite, each offering a unique advantage.
The essential tier is an option in which the customer performs a portion of the service and Murphy Tractor performs the balance.
“Murphy Tractor is committed to supporting our customers and has taken into account that we have customers who do a portion of their own service, so the essential tier was created,” said Jason Welch, machine technology specialist.
“We understand that customers demand increased reliability and up-time. We want to help our customers control costs, increase efficiency and maximize machine productivity,” he added.
At the essential and enhanced tiers, all makes of machines are eligible. The elite tier of the program includes all new John Deere and Hitachi machines and covers all preventative maintenance services including: IT4 particulate filter maintenance/replacement and hose replacements. Customers who choose this tier are guaranteed to not have any additional out-of-pocket expenses.
Construction Technology Solutions offered as part of EquipGard include:
• Fleet Care is offered at all three tiers of EquipGard. It is a new service, offered by John Deere, which interprets essential machine data and advises the best methods to proactively control machine health.
• Service Advisor Remote also is offered at all three tiers of EquipGard, and it allows Murphy Tractor to connect remotely to customers’ machines for diagnostic trouble codes, record performance data and update software, without requiring a jobsite visit.
• JDLink is optional at the essential and enhanced tiers, but included at the elite tier. JDLink is built-in technology that allows customers to access information about the location and performance of their machines. It also provides machine data such as: hours, maintenance reminders, diagnostic codes and much more.
