The recently opened Baker Factory Professional Motocross Training Facility in Clermont, Fla., has partnered with JCB North America to build and maintain its one-of-a-kind, world-class training facility. The Baker Factory will be using JCB heavy equipment to maintain, condition and evolve five different purpose-built motocross and supercross tracks spread over the 90+ acre facility. The facility will be the training center for the sport’s most elite riders, who are put through a personalized training regimen that demands nothing less than the best from them and their equipment. JCB will be an integral part of the training facility’s continued construction and rigorous facility maintenance program.

When construction is complete, the Baker Factory Motocross Training Facility, in addition to its five tracks, will include meeting spaces, indoor training areas and athlete accommodations. Current JCB equipment on site includes a 300T compact track loader, 3CX-14 backhoe, JS190 excavator and a 427ZX wheel loader. Local JCB dealership MacKinnon JCB will offer ongoing equipment maintenance and service.

“We’re very pleased that Aldon Baker [founder and owner of the Baker Factory Motocross Training Facility] has selected JCB equipment, as he demands the best in all aspects of his elite level training program, including the equipment used at the facility,” said Thom Peebles, vice president of marketing of JCB North America. “It is a natural fit given JCB’s commitment to work closely with customers to continually drive product enhancements and innovation. Working at the facility will put these machines through their paces day in and day out, including several JCB innovative Tier IV Final compliant non-DPF engines. Just like Aldon, we pride ourselves on demanding the best to build the best. After extensive research, we have found many of our customers not only follow, but also participate in off road riding and motocross racing. The sport now garners more than one million annual spectators at live events and with live television coverage. It’s an exciting new venture that we’re proud to be a part of.”

The training facility was named for its founder and owner Aldon Baker, a former professional mountain bike racer turned motocross and supercross trainer. Baker, a decorated athlete himself, is arguably the most successful trainer in history having trained riders including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart and Ryan Villopoto. His athletes have gained global attention for winning the previous two world and U.S. titles, as well as several other championships from previous years.

Aldon Baker said, “JCB equipment is a natural fit for our facility. JCB’s broad range of equipment and focus on customer service is just what we needed. We’re excited to put their equipment to use as we build and maintain our facility. JCB machines are known for quality, innovation and safety around the world; values which are very important to us. The JCB team really focused on understanding what needs I had today and those I’ll have in the future. They quickly brought in MacKinnon JCB, our local dealer and developed several unique options. It is great to have a personal relationship with a global organization, knowing they are working behind the scenes to ensure this new facility is a success.”
