Construction Equipment Guide

On Nov. 8, Hoffman Equipment, Piscataway, NJ, hosted local contractors and municipal employees and treated them to breakfast and a private inspection of JCB’s lineup of products, including backhoes, skid steers, telehandlers and wheel loaders.

As part of its ongoing “Bringing JCB to the Customer” effort, Michael Carrington, JCB’s regional business manager for the East region, and Andrew Henderson, service specialist of JCB, brought a 53-ft. trailer to the site in which customers were offered coffee from a custom hospitality kitchen. Adjacent to this was a furnished lounge where they were provided information about the full JCB product line on two 42-in. plasma screen televisions.

Hoffman sales management and sale personnel also were on hand, greeting customers and talking about JCB’s national backhoe program, which allows customers to trade in competitors’ backhoe loaders by the end of this year to receive an additional $5,000 over and above the current value of the machine.
