NPK Construction’s Joseph R. Obergas Passes Away

Obergas, a NPK Construction Equipment sales representative, passed away in his sleep on Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 26.

Joe Obergas, a NPK Construction Equipment sales representative, passed away in his sleep on Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 26. He was 51.

"Over Joe's 26 year career at NPK he always tried to do more for our customers and dealers than they expected. Joe's willingness to go the extra mile raised the bar for us all," said NPK President Dan Tyrrell. "His humor and caring nature will be missed."

Mr. Obergas was the beloved husband of Patti; son of Richard and Patricia (both deceased); brother of Richard (deceased) (Jeanne Symons), Patricia Sobek (Larry), John and Robert; nephew of Steve and Kate Monchak and uncle of many. The family suggests contributions to the Cleveland Animal Protective League or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ohio Buckeye Chapter.

A mass was held at St. Mattias Church in Parma, Ohio, on Dec. 4.
