Performance Kenworth has moved its full-service Kenworth dealership in Austin, Texas, 15 mi. south to Buda, to provide enhanced customer support and easier access from U.S. Interstate 35.

A member of the Kenworth dealer network of more than 300 locations in the United States and Canada, Performance Kenworth — Buda is conveniently located on a 6-acre site less than 1 mi. southeast of exit 220 on U.S. Interstate 35, which connects Dallas and San Antonio. The facility also is close to State Highway 45, a new Texas Tollways road that connects to the State Highway 130 toll road.

“Our new facility provides greater visibility and easier access to and from I-35 and the state’s new highway and toll road system compared to our former location in Austin. The move will help us increase customer support,” said Dayne Yeager, Performance Kenworth general manager at the dealer’s corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Texas. In addition to stores in Buda and Cleveland, Performance Kenworth also has locations in Beaumont, Bryan, Lufkin and Houston.

Performance Kenworth — Buda features a 12,000-sq. ft. facility with a 10-bay service shop and larger parts department for enhanced parts selection. The dealership has five drive-through bays. One bay is dedicated for truck washings and the other half for preventive and express maintenance services, including Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube. The dealership offers a wide selection of heavy and medium trucks.

The dealership also offers Kenworth PremierCare parts and service programs and PACCAR Financial support with flexible retail loans, leases and insurance products for the transportation industry.

Performance Kenworth-Buda is located at 100 Pit Stop Trace. The dealership is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. The phone number is 512/312-5700. Key personnel include: Austin Pell, branch manager; Ryan Cayce, parts manager; and Gerald Peddy, service manager.
