With an early 9 a.m. shotgun start participants arrived early to sign in and enjoy breakfast. Many of Pine Bush Equipment’s vendors and other supporters of the event donated door prizes and raffle items to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. The Town of Wallkill Golf Club, a municipal course, owned and maintained by the Town of Wallkill, N.Y., is a beautiful facility nestled in the heart of the Catskills. (L-R): Sean Curran of the George Thompson Agency; Todd Schliphack of Wales Darby; and Dick Bower of IBM were initially skeptical about the weather, but enjoyed what turned out to be a marvelous day. East PBE, Pine Bush Equipment’s sister company in Connecticut, sent over a foursome to support the cause. (L-R): Kevin Keroack, Lee Ellsworth, Mike Tierney and Mike Breaux. At the end of the day, Kubota sponsored a buffet dinner for all participants. Simra Alfonso (L) and Holly Bodnar (R) of Pine Bush Equipment congratulate participants as they pick up their door prizes. Winners of the Second Place team include Howard and Karen Osterhoudt; Kristen Walsh; and Frank Muller.

Pine Bush Equipment held its fifth annual golf tournament for the American Cancer Society at the Town of Wallkill Golf Club in Middletown, N.Y.

The tournament, held May 19, is a part of Pine Bush Equipment’s contribution to its Relay For Life annual fundraiser. This year’s tournament raised $10,000 to fight cancer.

Many companies contributed to the event’s success, including Kubota, Komatsu and East Pine Bush Equipment, who made contributions to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner.
