On March 9, Pippin Tractor Inc. celebrated the opening of its new Pompano Beach, FL, facility, welcoming JCB sales, service and parts to the area.
The new facility, which is located at 2480 NW 16 St. in Pompano Beach, houses eight service bays and employs seven staff members. Open since December 2003, the branch carries the full line of JCB equipment.
Plus, the location offers a “large parts stock and gets good feed out of Savannah for [JCB] parts we don’t have in stock,” said Colin McLauchlan, Pompano Beach branch manager. “We also have certified service technicians and a fleet of fully equipped service trucks.”
Sticking to the company’s policy of “selling the best and servicing the rest,” Pippin Tractor services any type of machine, McLauchlan noted.
The Pippin Tractor Pompano Beach facility is the company’s first branch location. Its headquarters in Fort Pierce, FL, carries Massey Ferguson, Bush Hog and Kubota lines as well as JCB.
During the open house, JCB offered equipment demonstrations, and the JCB dancing diggers entertained guests. Pippin Tractor also was in the midst of its three-day tent sale, introducing the JCB line to the area.
“So far,” noted McLauchlan, who has more than five years of experience with JCB, “we’ve had a good response from our customers.”
