Professional Women in Construction (PWC) will host its annual summer golf outing on June 23 at Elmwood Country Club in White Plains, N.Y. The event starts with a buffet brunch at 10 a.m.; non-players are welcome for cocktails (open bar), dinner and networking at 5 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for such competitions as Best Ball; Closest to Pin; Longest Drive; and Straightest Drive.

Golf co-chairs are: Frank DeGrande, managing principal, IBC Groups; Tim Lindert, sales manager buildings business, Schneider Electric; and Jason Lesizza, principal, Workwell Partners.

PWC President Lenore Janis said, “We launched the golf outings in 1992, and had just six women players. Today, 30 to 35 percent of the golfers are women. Women are looking to do the type of things that the men have done in order to create customers, to connect with others in the industry.”

The golfer package is $385 pp; foursome and sign, $1,800; sign only, $275; cocktails and dinner only, $150 pp.
