RDO Equipment Co. in Aberdeen, S.D., held a two-day customer clinic on April 6 and 7, in which more than 35 customers attended to learn more about the John Deere G-Series motorgrader.
Sales Professional Darrin Olson organized the demo event and said representatives from nine different government entities and several contractors were in attendance.
“We created a lot of buzz and since the demo, we’ve been receiving calls from city and county customers who were unable to attend the event. They heard about the advantages and wanted more information.”
The day started with a walk-around the grader, followed by a classroom setting presentation where everyone learned about the new controls, such as grade slope. After lunch, customers actually operated the motorgraders.
Olson said customers liked the ease of serviceability like the swing-out coolers, but the big topic of discussion was the EH Controls — how easy they are to run and how it will increase productivity.
