Testing the hydraulics on a Caterpillar 320CL excavator is Wendell Cain of Cain & Todd Equipment, Lilburn, Ga. On any given sale day at a Ritchason auction, bidders are bound to see either Tommy Yates (L) of Lexington, Tenn., or Eddie McCrary of Tennessee Tractor & Equipment, Lebanon, Tenn., in attendance. Discussing what they like about this Caterpillar excavator (L-R) are Ron Hendon, Hendon Construction, Umatilla, Ore.; Manuel Montes, Montes Stone Products, Dunlap, Tenn.; and Olen Hendon, also of Hendon Construction. Mark Berry (L) and his dad, Harry Berry (R) of Berry Construction, Springfield, Tenn., stand with Dewain Ritchason of Ritchason Auctioneers. Harry said he bought a big loader at Dewain’s first sale and has been attending ever since. Albert Crosslin of Crosslin Implement in Wartrace, Tenn., checks out and gets ready to bid on a nicely configured New Holland L185 skid steer loader with a Bradco HP600 cold planer.
