Due to COVID-19, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers will conduct its upcoming Polotitlan, Mexico, auction on July 2 with online bidding only, as large crowds are restricted.

Hundreds of items have already been consigned, including late-model excavators, loaders, trucks, and more — anyone interested in adding equipment to the auction can contact the site directly at +52.427.266.0909.

"The safety of our customers and employees is our first priority," said Richard Aldersley, sales director, Ritchie Bros.

"We have been conducting auctions online-only in the United States since mid-March and have seen record numbers of bidders at many of these events. It's easy to register and we have customer service representatives available to help answer any questions. I encourage interested bidders to get online, check out the equipment, and get ready to bid. You don't want to miss out."

Ritchie Bros. Polotitlan site will be open for equipment inspection in the weeks leading up to the July 2 auction, but will be limiting the number of people on site at one time to promote physical distancing.
