More than 2,000 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Orlando, Fla., on May 15.

Bidders came from 58 countries, including all 50 U.S. states. More than 65 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Costa Rica, the Netherlands and New Zealand. Online bidders purchased 49 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 1,350 equipment items were sold in the auction, including more than 40 truck tractors, 30 hydraulic excavators, 30 wheel loaders, 20 bulldozers and more.
