Norman (L) and Mathew Eller, Trax Grading, Wilkesboro, N.C., were looking to buy a Cat D6C and hoping to get a good deal on a few other machines as well. Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers held a multi-million dollar unreserved public auction in Statesville, N.C., on March 23.

More than 1,500 bidders registered to participate both in person and online from 30 countries, including 45 U.S. states and 10 Canadian provinces. More than 1,000 auction lots were sold during the auction.
