SETCO Solid Tire and Rim Assemblies, based in Idabel, Okla., has invested in its Southeast operation with the addition of industry veterans Chris Brogdon and Roy Camargo to its sales force.

The company hired Brogdon last year to lead its sales efforts in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. Brogdon is based in Atlanta, Ga., and has been working for the past 30 years at a local Caterpillar dealer. During his tenure, he gained experience in the construction, grinding and recycling equipment market, which will serve him in his new role.

Brogdon said he wanted to work for the family-owned company because of its solid reputation and its quality American-made products. He also said that his experience allows him to understand his customers' needs and enables him to find the right tire while saving them money.

In addition to Brogdon, Camargo joined the sales staff as a sales engineer for the Florida and Puerto Rico market. He has been in the industry for more than 27 years and has worked for Tiresavers Inc. and Miller Bros. Giant Tire, among others. Camargo has experience with surface mining, construction, industrial recycling and commercial truck tire applications.

“I learn about my customers so that I can accommodate their needs and provide solutions for their particular applications,” said Camargo

Giles Hill founded SETCO in 1988. Today, his son, Buck Hill, and sales manager, Larry Sargent, run the company and continue to uphold the company's founding principles — providing excellent customer service and understanding the value of each and every customer, no matter what size operation they have.

Chris Brogdon can be reached at 770/826-5289, and Roy Camargo can be reached at 954/995-0925. For more information, visit www.setcosolidtire.com.—CEG
