National Environmental Service Co. (NESCO) was presented with a plaque for “Keeping America Strong” and featured in the Heartbeat of America Series hosted by William Shatner. This program was produced in the aftermath of 9/11 and honored small businesses and their contribution to America’s strength.

A New Jersey-based manufacturer, NESCO dust control systems are used at many of the New York-area quarries that supplied the concrete and stone for the WTC. NESCO was selected for the series as an example of a small company that protects the health and safety of miners supplying the raw materials for the country’s infrastructure.

Heartbeat of America airs on regional cable networks.
