Superior Industries, a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, has named Lauren DeBow as washing product manager.

In her new role, DeBow will guide product development, market strategy, training initiatives and sales support for Superior's growing and diverse portfolio of wet processing equipment.

DeBow brings 12 years of aggregate processing experience to the position, with a career spanning equipment applications, technical sales and product management. She joined Superior in 2023 as an applications specialist, working closely with aggregate producers and Superior's dealer partners to develop custom equipment solutions for unique washing applications.

"Lauren [Debow] has spent her career studying metallurgy and applications, solving complex processing challenges, and getting her boots dirty in the field," said Matt Voigt, Superior's director of products. "She has a knack for seeing where wet processing is headed, understanding the challenges producers are running into, and digging into the details until she finds a better way to solve them."

A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in metallurgical and materials engineering, DeBow began her career in mineral processing before moving into aggregate equipment. Prior to joining Superior, she held applications and product management roles with Weir Minerals and later worked in technical sales for Astec Industries. That experience has given DeBow a frontline view of evolving washing requirements across the industry.

"Washing is becoming more important in places where producers historically didn't need it," said DeBow. "As deposits become more challenging and water becomes more constrained, there are opportunities to rethink how material is processed and how efficiently we use the resources available to us."

DeBow will work cross-functionally with Superior's engineering, applications, sales, marketing and manufacturing teams to advance the company's washing equipment portfolio and support dealers and producers throughout North America.
