The Road Connection will be holding a press conference at The World of Asphalt / AGG1 trade show on at 1:00 PM, March 14th, at booth 2299B to discuss the current situation on Capitol Hill regarding a long-term, comprehensive highway bill.
The first speaker will be Pam Whitted, Vice-President of Government Affairs for The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA). Ms. Whitted will be highlighting the status of the Federal Highway Bill in Congress, as well as discussing another upcoming NSSGA-sponsored event in Washington, D.C. – Rally for Roads.
Speaking next will be Joe Vig, President of Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI), of Yankton, South Dakota. Mr. Vig will talk about the goals of The Road Connection, and what it means for his organization to be a primary sponsor of this nine-month, non-partisan, grassroots initiative.
