Benchmark Tool & Supply hosted its third Topcon Roadshow in Mebane, N.C. on Feb. 13 and 14. The Topcon Technology Roadshow is a traveling event throughout the United States that showcases the newest technologies designed to increase efficiency for contractors, engineers, precision farmers and surveyors.

The event took place on a large plot of land, which allowed Topcon to bring an expandable semi-trailer truck equipped with an indoor theatre and a large product showcase room. Among Topcon products showcased in the truck were the Topcon LN-100 Layout Navigator, Topcon RL-SV2S Dual Slope Laser, Topcon GT Series Robotic Total Station, and much more.

Benchmark Tool & Supply provided outdoor demonstrations, which gave eventgoers the chance to experience machine control firsthand. Demonstrations included a Caterpillar Dozer with a Topcon 3DMC Max system, a Bobcat Excavator with a Topcon X-53i system, a Concrete Screed with LPS System and more.

"The Roadshow provided us with a really great opportunity to introduce attendees to the latest technology available from Topcon. Having the ability to receive hands-on experience with several different types of equipment is not something you get every day," said Mike Gaillard of Benchmark Tool & Supply.

The Topcon Technology Roadshow will be traveling to many additional locations over the new year. Benchmark Tool & Supply looks forward to hosting the event again in late October in the Richmond, Va. area.
