Construction Equipment Guide

Towmaster’s T-40LP trailer is designed with a lower deck height to clear low bridges. It features a one-piece formed 10-in. (25 cm) main frame and tongue with junior I-beam crossmembers and a 2-in. (5 cm) nominal white oak deck. Heavy-duty steel is placed over the wheels to accommodate tire clearance.

The T-40LP is built upon the Hutchens 9700 adjustable suspension with Dexter axles, oil-bath bearings and budd-type wheels. Air brakes are standard, complete with ABS.

The 8-ft.-6-in.-wide by 19-ft. (2.6 by 5.8 m) deck is standard.

For easy equipment loading, the T-40LP has a self-cleaning angle-iron 5-ft. (1.5 m) beavertail and 5-ft. two-way spring assist ramps. The hitch is adjustable and a 25K two-speed parking jack is standard.

The T-40LP has a toolbox with lockable lid, sealed wiring and polyurethane primer and paint for long lasting durability.
