Tracey Road Equipment Inc. now offers the full line of Terex compact construction equipment out of its five branch locations in Albany, Binghamton, East Syracuse, Rochester and Watertown, N.Y. Serving construction professionals in the Capital District, central and western New York markets, Tracey Road Equipment offers customers a complete range of machinery sales and rental equipment, as well as full service, parts and warranty capabilities.
“We are pleased to welcome Tracey Road Equipment as our newest Terex compact equipment distributor in New York,” said Dean Barley, vice president and general manager, Terex Construction Americas and Global Aftermarket. “Tracey Road Equipment takes pride in the reputation they have built over the years as being one of the leading heavy-duty truck and construction equipment distributorships in New York. With an ongoing commitment and dedication to its customers, they are committed to providing the highest quality products and service to customers in the highway, construction and transportation industries. Their company goals mirror our own — to offer customers the best equipment and services that increase their uptime, decrease their downtime, provide them with a low cost of ownership and facilitate high productivity. In addition to now carrying the Terex compact construction equipment line, they also carry Terex articulated and rigid trucks, as well as Terex environmental equipment.”
Tracey Road Equipment Inc. is a family-owned business, founded in 1976 by President and CEO Jerry Tracey. His wife, Deborah, serves as the company’s vice president and their two daughters, Jennifer Tracey Bartlett and Christine Tracey Julka, work within the company as human resources director and marketing director/CIC, respectively.
“As a distributor of other Terex product lines, we already knew the quality and reputation of Terex,” said Jerry Tracey. “We were very attracted to the complete line of equipment that Terex offered, including its skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, backhoe loaders, compact wheel loaders and compact excavators. These are the products our customers want and need. The addition of these product lines help make Tracey Road Equipment a single source provider of quality construction equipment
“We wanted to expand our product line and enter the compact equipment market with a manufacturer we knew and respected,” continued Tracey. “We have discussed the compact line with Terex in the past and felt that this was a perfect time — these new offerings will provide our customers with real value.”
What originated as Tracey’s dream has now become the company’s legacy — a commitment to customer satisfaction and a reputation for going above and beyond to provide exceptional service to current and potential customers — and is truly its business platform. “
In today’s economy, everyday is like starting a new business. We change and adapt our business model to serve our customers as changes in the market, economy and government dictate. We are not scared of change; we simply look at it as a challenge with new opportunities. We strive to build permanent relationships and earn customers for life, and we genuinely appreciate each and every opportunity we are given to be of service to our customers. We truly value customer service and their satisfaction with us. We will bend over backwards for our customers,” said Tracey.
In addition to offering a full line of Terex compact equipment products and services, qualified Tracey Road Equipment customers can take advantage of financing options through Terex Financial Services. Terex Financial Services offers a range of finance and leasing solutions, structured to accommodate customers’ cash flow and budgets. The Terex Financial Services team is equipped to assist in all areas of asset management, from the analysis of future equipment values through the disposal of used equipment.
