Trico Lift Appoints New CEO, President

Chris Carmolingo will now be lifting Trico to the future.

- National Edition

The board of directors of Trico Lift has appointed Chris Carmolingo the company’s new chief executive officer and president. Carmolingo replaces company co-founder and former President Ken Pustizzi who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Carmolingo is an 18 year veteran of the company and served most recently as chief operating officer leading the daily management of the company’s eight branch locations covering the northeast, mid-atlantic and Gulf Coast regions.

In 1998, he was named vice president of sales and marketing and was instrumental in the company’s significant growth throughout the next decade. He advanced to chief operating officer of Trico Lift in 2011 to accelerate the company’s growth and further develop and strengthen its operations and customer service objectives, according to the company.

“Chris’ keen business insight and clear understanding of the equipment marketplace, makes him a recognized leader in the access equipment industry and the right choice for Trico Lift’s chief executive role,” Executive Board Chairman John Paz said.

Pustizzi also commended Carmolingo for his most recent accomplishments explaining, “Under Chris’ leadership as chief operating officer, the company has achieved efficiencies and performance consistencies in virtually every business function.”

These recent advances include a significant increase in Trico Lift’s fleet size and the expansion of its transportation truck fleet to elevate its response time to customers. He also is largely responsible for corporate initiatives to improve the administration of sales and service as well as a 30 percent increase in factory-trained technicians to service more contractor-owned equipment, the company said.

Trico Lift is one of the largest independent aerial lift specialists in the United States. The company rents, sells, repairs, provides parts, preventive maintenance, inspections and operator training for all makes and models of aerial lifts. Its access equipment fleet includes a full complement of aerial work platforms including boom lifts, scissor lifts and rough terrain or telescopic forklifts.
