The Caterpillar D3C LGP is a crawler dozer designed for grading, pushing, and site preparation in soft or low-ground-pressure conditions. The LGP designation indicates a wide track undercarriage that helps reduce ground pressure and improve flotation on wet, sandy, or sensitive terrain. As part of Caterpillar's D3C series, it is commonly used in construction, land clearing, agriculture, and utility work where traction and maneuverability are important. The machine typically features a compact frame, diesel power, and a blade configuration suited to finish grading and light earthmoving. It remains a recognized model in the used equipment market.
