The Caterpillar D5G LGP is a crawler dozer designed for grading, dozing, and site preparation in soft or low-ground-pressure conditions. The LGP configuration uses wider tracks to reduce ground pressure and improve flotation on sensitive terrain. The D5G series is commonly associated with hydrostatic drive, responsive blade control, and maneuverability for finish grading and general earthmoving.
