The Ditch Witch JT30 is a horizontal directional drill used for underground utility installation, including fiber optic, gas, water, and electric lines. It is part of Ditch Witch's JT series and is designed for trenchless drilling in urban and residential environments where surface disruption must be minimized. The JT30 is commonly used by utility contractors for short to medium-length bore applications. Typical features include a compact frame, hydraulic drill carriage, and operator controls for directional boring operations. The machine is recognized for its use in HDD projects requiring controlled steering, pullback capability, and efficient installation of underground conduit and pipe.
