The Ditch Witch JT5 is a compact horizontal directional drill used in trenching, boring, and cable installation applications. Designed for utility work in confined job sites, the JT5 is commonly used for underground cable, conduit, and small-diameter pipeline placement. Its compact footprint supports maneuverability in urban areas, residential projects, and other restricted-access locations. The machine is part of Ditch Witch's underground construction equipment line and is associated with directional drilling operations that reduce surface disruption compared with open trench methods. The JT5 is used by contractors performing utility installation, telecommunications work, and other underground infrastructure projects.
