Vermeer Texas - Louisiana, a market leader in environmental and construction equipment with 11 locations across Texas and south Louisiana celebrated the grand opening of their newly relocated San Antonio store with an open house on Thursday, April 4th. This location replaces the facility on Director Drive that the dealership has occupied for the last 35 years.

Located on 8 acres within the city limits of Selma off Interstate 35, the new 34,000 sq. ft. location provides for more service bays, a larger parts warehouse and equipment showroom and dedicated training facility. With the additional space, Vermeer will be able to stock more equipment as well as host demonstration and training events.

Approximately 300 people attended the April 4th grand opening celebration. In addition to the team from Vermeer Texas-Louisiana, leaders from Vermeer Corporation including Chairman of the Board Bob Vermeer, President Jason Andringa and President Doug Hundt were on hand for the special event. The Randolph Metrocom Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony that included leaders from the city of Selma and local community ambassadors.

Branch Manager Brian Harris had this to say about the event, “We were extremely grateful for the outpouring of support our customer base and the local community have shown throughout our relocation. We are committed to serving our customers and the new facility will help us better meet their needs.”
