VIDEO: Volvo Skid Steers Play Soccer

With a referee looking on, expert operators maneuvered their skid steers around a “field,” scoring goals as they went.

With the Fifa World Cup capturing the attention of audiences worldwide at the start of the summer, Volvo decided to get in on the action.

The equipment company pulled together two teams: Volvo Construction Equipment Team Sweden and Team USA who played against one another in a captivating match of Skid Steer Soccer. With a referee looking on, expert operators maneuvered their skid steers around a “field,” scoring goals as they went. In an unexpected twist, the game ended abruptly, with Volvo promising, “We'll leave the soccer to the pros.”
