On July 30, Professional Women in Construction (PWC) National will present the latest in its ongoing breakfast series of Developers Forums at the Yale Club, NYC, offering a look ahead and insiders’ views into several major renovation and new construction projects in the public and private sectors.
Speakers include Joel Bergstein, president, Lincoln Equities, which has launched the first steps in transforming a long-neglected section of the Queens waterfront into a vibrant residential and retail community. Kevin Bunker, director design and construction, Region 2, U.S. GSA, will discuss $750 million in funding obtained through the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act for seven capital projects and 15 energy improvement projects. Greg Cuyjet, chief, Small Business Programs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will explore ways his office helps maximize opportunities. Peter Fine, principal, Atlantic Development Group, one of the largest housing developers in New York City, will speak about his firm, which has developed more than 6,500 units of affordable, middle-income and market-rate housing units over the past 12 years.
Lois Weiss, columnist, New York Post, cityfeet.com and Gotham will reprise her role as moderator.
