The 37th Annual West Virginia Construction & Design Exposition was held on March 23 and 24 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, W.Va. Billed as the region's largest trade show for the construction and design industries, the event included several association board meetings, a wide selection of educational seminars and a showcase for the latest equipment, products and services presented by more than 250 exhibiting companies situated indoors and within an outdoor equipment display area.

Educational seminars covered a range of industry related topics including ways to reduce public utilities expenditures and conserve energy, the development of asset management plans, new innovations in design and construction, and industry updates impacting the West Virginia market.

Event sponsors included AIA West Virginia — The West Virginia Chapter of The American Institute of Architects; the Contractors Association of West Virginia, the West Virginia Society of Professional Engineers; and the West Virginia Utility Contractors Association.

The event typically attracts nearly 5,000 attendees from 30 states who come to gain insights, network with their peers and earn continuing education credits.
