YANMAR America Participates in Clear Creek Elementary Pi Day

- National Edition

On Friday, March 24, YANMAR America proudly supported our local schools by participating in Clear Creek Elementary School in Cartersville's Pi Day Celebration.

The annual Pi Day event is focused on math and science for the entire family. The entire student body, which is around 600 students, is able to spend about an hour of time visiting hands-on stations, demonstrations and make-and-take activities, which are student led.

YANMAR America was able to participate in the hydraulic activity station where students manipulated a toy grabber/crane in connection with our Construction Equipment division.

“It was encouraging to see the students' love for math and science. All of the students were engaged in the hands-on activities, and there was great support by the Clear Creek Elementary teachers and staff,” commented Tim Fernandez, president of YANMAR America.
